  Wuling Power Co., Ltd. is a large energy development enterprise invested together by Xiangtou International and China Power. Xiangtou International holds 37% shares of Wuling Power. China Power, the holding shareholder of Wuling Power, is a company under China Power Investment Corporation and listed in Hong Kong.

  Since establishment, Wuling Power has obeyed the national policies and economic and social development demands, and implemented “external” development with hydropower as core and multi power sources as supplementation, in the meantime of finishing the development task of Yuanshui “drainage basin, step, rolling, and comprehensive” development task arranged by State Council. In recent years, the company has adhered to the idea of “contributing green energy, and servicing social public”, persisted in taking the road of clean development, aimed at two markets of within border and outside border, pushed forward the industrial strategies of “regarding development of hydropower as key point, developing new energy largely, and developing power station service industry actively”, and formed a development layout with Hunan Province and Guizhou as base, and Sichuan Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Yunnan Province, and the north part of China as supplementation.

  Up to the end of 2017, Wuling Power had 35 power plants which were in construction or had been built, had installed capacity of 6.556 million kw, in which installed capacity of 5.499 million kw (4.8262 million kw for hydropower and 518 MW for wind power, 518 MW for solar power) that has been put into production, and the in-construction installed capacity was 1.057 million kw. The shares joining installed capacity was 240 MW, and the earlier period development installed capacity was 1.19 million kw. Both hydropower installed capacity and power generation capacity of the company ranked No. 1 in the power market of Hunan Province, and the company owned the largest power plan of Wuqiangxi Hydropower Plant of Hunan Province.

  The enterprise economic benefits of Wuling Power grows lastingly and stably, and the profit making ability of the company strengthens uninterruptedly. Up to the end of 2017, the total assets amount of the company was RMB 37.888 billion Yuan and the registered capital of the company was RMB 7.79 billion Yuan, and the company had 53 organizations, including 13 directly managed power plants, 5 branches, 71 fully invested and held subsidiaries, and 3 shares joining companies. The company has 2,056 staff, and the labor production rate of the company ranks front in the industry. The company wins “National May 1 Labor Certificate of Merit”, “National Power Industry Enterprise Culture Special Grade Award” and “National Power Industry Excellent Enterprise”, etc.
